School Dinners

A copy of our menu can be found on Parent Pay. At King’s Oak Academy  all children are entitled to a Free School Meal under the Universal Free School Meal offer from the government. Since its introduction we have over the years worked successfully with parents to engage with the school catering team to provide the food for the midday meal.

The school kitchen provides a variety of sandwiches on a daily basis as well as the hot meal choice. The menu options are available on Parent Pay, we ask parents to select meal choices for the week or term ahead at the start of the term. We will monitor your child’s eating habits and keep you informed if they need to consider changing from a hot meal to a sandwich meal or vice versa.

Water is provided throughout the day for your child.

A drink of milk can be offered to your child which is FREE to all nursery aged children and until their 5th birthday in Reception Class.
