Children have the opportunity to learn new skills and to experiment with textures, materials and colours, throughout the school. During each term a new skill is taught to ensure a progression of skills. To enhance the children’s understanding of the skills learnt in art they will learn about a wide range of artists, sculptors and designers.

Key Stage 1 also have the opportunity to further develop their skills during an extra curricular craft club. We hope to offer extra curricular activities as soon as we can this academic year with the challenge of Coronavirus restrictions.
