Design and Technology

Within the curriculum children have the opportunity to learn and follow the health and hygiene rules. Over the course of the year they have many opportunities to cook a range of different baked goods. We bake for many different reasons in school for example, as a part of science lessons or to raise money for charities the school has chosen to support.

.KS1 children follow the PKC scheme of work, which allows them to build their skills and knowledge. Children have opportunities to design, build and evaluate with a range of resources. Children enjoy cooking, using a range of skills and equipment.
