Art

Children have the opportunity to learn new skills and to experiment with textures, materials and colours, throughout the school. During each term a new skill is taught to ensure a progression of skills. To enhance the children’s understanding of the skills learnt in art they will learn about a wide range of artists, sculptors and designers.

KS1 children follow the PKC scheme of work, which allows them to build their skills and knowledge.
